Kuroneko no tango -

Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day,
To seek the pale enchanted gold.

The pines were roaring on the height,
The winds were moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.

The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells.

For ancient king and elvish lord
There many a gleaming golden hoard
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught
To hide in gems on hilt of sword.

In the darkness bind them…
[repeat all]

While stars outspread the night-time watch
And wind through darkened treetops swirl;
I slowly bow my frozen features
In grief, in sadness and in woe...
In grief, in sadness and in woe

In solitude forever!

Forever I see, forever I hear, forever I smell
Forever I taste and forever I feel the solitude...
No voice (no voice), no hand (no hand) of human source
Can reach me (reach me) in this place...
Though fallen (fallen) figures (figures) closely passes
And invites me (invites me) into somber dance...
This somber dance!

Cold and desolate my soul turns grey
(And) alone I witness the neverending day

My wasted dreams lie silent and dead
Within these darkened tears I shed...
These darkened tears I shed

In solitude forever!

So lonely I stand on this tortured cliff
Hearing distant cosmic echoes calling;
Beckons me to decline this withered beauty
And leave this lie to greet the night...
The night without an end

The solitude...

This solitary life...
Maybe I should just end it all...
Yes, I should just end it all!

A letter to my future self
Am I still happy? I began
Have I grown up pretty?
Is Daddy still a good man?
Am I still friends with Colleen?
I’m sure that I’m still laughing
Aren’t I?
Aren’t I?

Hey there to my future self
If you forget how to smile
I have this to tell you
Remember it once in a while
Ten years ago your past self
Prayed for your happiness
Please don’t lose hope

Oh, oh what a pair me and you
Put here to feel joy not be blue
Sad times and bad times - see them through
Soon we will know, if it’s for real
What we both feel

(Spoken)
Though I can’t know for sure, how things worked out for us
No matter how hard it gets, you have to realize
We weren’t put on this earth to suffer and cry
We were made for being happy
So, be happy
For me
For you
Please

Oh, oh what a pair me and you
Put here to feel joy not be blue
Sad times and bad times - see them through
Soon we will know, if it’s for real
What we both feel

We were put here on this earth, put here to feel joy (4x)

You lie, silent there before me.
Your tears, they mean nothing to me,
The wind howling at the window,
the love you never gave,
I give to you,
Really don’t deserve it,
but now, there’s nothing you can do.

So sleep, in your only memory
and weep, my dearest mother...

Here’s a lullaby to close your eyes.
Goodbye
It was always you that I despised.
I don’t feel enough for you to cry, oh no,
Here’s a lullaby to close your eyes,
Goodbye,
Goodbye,
Goodbye,
Goodbye.

So insignificant, sleeping dormant deep inside of me,
are you hiding away, lost, under the sewers,
maybe flying high, in the clouds?
perhaps you’re happy without me...

So many seeds have been sown in the field,
And who could sprout up so blessedly,
If I had died I would never felt sad at all,
You will not hear me say ’I’m sorry’
where is the light, wonder if it’s weeping somewhere?

Here’s a lullaby to close your eyes,
Goodbye
It was always you i despised.
I don’t feel enough for you to cry, oh no,
Here’s a lullaby to close your eyes,
Goodbye
